The Monastery, which consists of five mediaeval cells on the right side of the cathedral, has been preserved to the present day and is home to seven nuns and two cadets. A second wing with 15 additional cells has been constructed and finished around the church, and a third wing with 15 further cells is currently under development. The Department of Archaeology provides preservation and support for the Trikoukkias Monastery.
