The Cyprus Forestry College, situated in the village of Prodromos and bordered by substantial forested territory, was founded in 1951 to satisfy the growing demand for training supervisory staff in the broad principles of forestry operations in Cyprus, the Middle East, and other nations. From 1997 until 2014, the Foundation awarded two grants annually to Ghanaian and Nigerian students enrolled in a two-year Forestry diploma programme. In addition to contributing to the Students’ Association, the A. G. Leventis Foundation enhanced the happiness and well-being of the College’s students.
